Sales Associate - Haulover
Iconic Marine Group is seeking experienced Sales Associates to join our team at the Haulover location, the largest hub for high-performance boats. With over 400 boats, many equipped with 3-4 engines, our Haulover location specializes in high-performance brands like Cigarette, Donzi, and Fountain. We are looking for individuals with a passion for boating, strong knowledge of these premier brands, and the ability to build lasting relationships with our clients.
Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Meet with current and prospective clients to learn their needs and identify products and/or services to fill that need. Arrange demonstrations
- Familiarize yourself with the current inventory of new, used, and brokered watercraft to address any client questions or concerns
- Assist Brand Managers and Sales Manager to prepare for Boat Shows. Attend shows and use this opportunity to create leads, market your knowledge, and network with other salespeople.
- Understand competitive pricing and mine data for similar products from our competitors. Research and be able to explain key features of our products and comparison to competitive brands
- Become proficient with the Salesforce CRM program to assist the sales team with handling incoming leads and matching inventory to client preferences
- Initiate contact with a minimum of ten leads per day, via phone, text, email, and in-person
- Evaluate prospective trade-ins, and give comprehensive quotes on value. Receive trade-ins and conduct initial inspections. Communicate with the service team to schedule a mechanical evaluation
- Perform final walk-through to ensure watercraft is in optimal condition prior to delivery
- Ensure client satisfaction upon delivery, or arrange immediate service to rectify outstanding issues
- Send a thank you card within seven days of boat delivery
- Continuously refine skills and search for opportunities to enhance sales technique
- Conduct daily walk-through of the sales area to ensure the product is in optimal condition and ready to be shown daily. Cover any boats that remain uncovered at the end of the day
- Schedule follow-up opportunities with prospective clients and send a follow-up note or thank you card as appropriate following contact

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Diploma or GED is required, Post-secondary education is desired
Experience: 2-4 years’ marine sales and/or service experience preferred
Computer Skills: Must be proficient with essential PC and laptop functions, online search engines, Microsoft Office suite, and Google Docs. Experience with Salesforce CRM is valued.
Certifications & Licenses: Must possess, or have the ability to obtain, a Class E driver and state boater license
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Typical office environment with moderate noise level when working indoors. Outdoor and marine environments may contain uneven and slippery surfaces. Noise levels may increase substantially upon interaction with watercraft.
