Essential Functions Statement(s) 

• Provides support when needed to assist service office staff with assigned administrative duties such as answering phones, writing retail work orders or estimates, selling parts, etc.  
• Processes warranty claims on a timely basis for each franchise or distributor 
• Processes all warranty paperwork to ensure proper, accurate documentation 
• Reconciles all Iconic warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule 
• Resubmits all rejected claims promptly or receives authorization to write them off 
• Follows up on payment of outstanding claims 
• Handles and resolves all claim corrections and charge-backs 
• Files and maintains all service records as required by the warrantor 
• Keeps informed of all factory recalls and service bulletins and informs service manager, parts personal and technicians about current recalls and bulletins 
• Assists service consultants and technicians with any warranty questions 
• Assist with special projects, audits and reports as requested 
• Performs other duties as assigned

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education:   High School Diploma or GED is required, Associates Degree or higher preferred

Experience:  3-4 years’ marine or automotive parts sales and/or customer service experience required

Computer Skills:   Must be proficient with general computer applications, experience with MercNet and DockMaster is valued, but not necessary.

Certifications & Licenses:  Must possess, or have the ability to obtain, a Class E drivers and MO boaters license

WORK ENVIRONMENT  

Typical office environment with moderate noise level when working indoors. Outdoor and marine environment may contain uneven and slippery surfaces. Noise level may increase substantially upon interaction with watercraft.
